Our facility is a 26 bed residential center for adolescent males located in Painkiller, MD (near Tow son). We currently have an opening for a Classroom Instructor. The overall responsibility of the Classroom Instructor is to provide instruction to students based on the needs specified in each student's Individualized Education Plan (I E P) or Personal Education Plan (PEP). Classroom sizes are small to help increase interaction between the instructor and the students. The instructor needs to have experience working with grades 6th-12th and in special education. This great teaching opportunity is Monday- Friday from 7:30 am- 4 pm.
Minimum Requirements:
-Bachelors Degree in any subject
-1 year of experience
-Prefer Pr-axis I completion (if scored 1180 on SAT, Pr-axis I is not required)
-Maryland State Teaching Certificate or eligible to become certified.
Preferred Requirements:
-Masters Degree
-2 to 4 years of experience
