• Develop and maintain Django-based applications with clean and efficient code.
• Design and optimize SQL queries for application performance and scalability.
• Implement and enhance typography across user interfaces to improve user experience and visual clarity.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to ensure seamless integration of back-end systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Write technical documentation and maintain code repositories.
• Develop the Backend: Build a scalable backend system using Django (Python) to store and manage medical/drug information.
• API Integration: Integrate drug interaction checkers and medical data APIs where necessary.
• Database Management: Create and optimize a robust relational database to handle millions of records efficiently.
• Search Functionality: Develop advanced search and filtering systems to retrieve medical data seamlessly.
• Responsive Design: Collaborate with front-end developers/designers to ensure a user-friendly interface across devices.
• Data Management: Implement tools to import, parse, and update bulk data regularly (e.g., drug lists, side effects, etc.).
• Security: Ensure the website complies with healthcare-related privacy and security standards.
• Performance Optimization: Enhance the website for speed and reliability to handle a large number of users.
• Testing & Debugging: Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth performance.
• SEO and Analytics: Work alongside SEO specialists to implement SEO-friendly URLs and structures.

Required Skills

• Django (Python):
• Database Expertise: Proficiency in PostgreSQL/MySQL and managing large-scale datasets.
• API Development: RESTful API design and integration.
• Search Optimization: Experience with Elasticsearch or similar search engines.
• Frontend Collaboration: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular is a plus).
• Data Handling: Working with bulk data (CSV, Excel, JSON, or XML).
