What comes to mind when you hear the term Ayurveda? I'm guessing Indian medicine. But what if I told you that Ayurvedic medicine is now used all over the world? Ayurveda was first recorded 5000 years ago, and it is mentioned in the four sacred Vedic texts: the Rig Veda, the Yajur Veda, the Sam Veda, and the Atharva Veda. It has a rich history and is widely accepted as the only form of medicine by many people. Many hospitals and institutions have recently given recognition and adopted the practice of Ayurvedic medicine.
