Urgent Need A Cow Shelter For Injured Cows

Our current shed is no longer able to protect all cows properly. With growing rescues, more injured and elderly cows, and changing seasons, the shelter space has become overcrowded and insufficient. During cold nights, heavy rains, and heat waves, cows need a secure, dry, and calm place to rest. This campaign is focused on creating a new, stronger shelter for Gau Mata—so no cow is left exposed to weather, slippery floors, or unsafe overcrowding.

Many cows in care are weak, injured, or recovering from illness. Overcrowded sheds increase stress, make feeding and cleaning harder, and raise the risk of infection and injury. A protected shed reduces disease, supports faster recovery, and ensures cows can lie down comfortably without fear. The new shelter will help us provide space, ventilation, dryness, hygiene, and safe resting areas—especially for old cows, calves, and cows with injuries.
